Our General English programme is designed to help you develop and improve all fields of knowledge. You can also choose to specialise in a number of different areas.
Business English
HIA has plenty to offer the executive student. We provide an extremely comfortable online environment in which to learn professional and business English. We offer both small groups and one-to-one programmes for management and other business areas.

University Preparation & Proficiency
Start your journey to an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification from a university or college in the UK, Canada, USA, New Zealand or Australia. HIA supports you from the moment you register. We’ll help you find the right programme for you and provide you with the support you need to meet the entry requirements. We’ll help you through the application and enrolment process and ensure that you meet the academic standards of English required.
British Literature
This programme is designed chronologically and ranges from Medieval to Contemporary British Literature. Students will read both fiction and non-fiction pieces and experiment with different types of writing, including literary analysis, persuasive writing and research-based writing. There are also visual presentation projects incorporated into the class to teach students how to create an effective presentation.
Accent Reduction (RP-based)
To those whose second language is English, HIA`s Accent Reduction programme will help refine your English pronunciation. Our programme includes consistent refinement of English pronunciation by deep understanding and practice of phonetics. This programme comprises only RP-based phonetics.
